Sunday, March 26, 2017 – Doors at 11pm
Both only in their 20s, The Martinez Brothers have achieved a career’s worth of accolades in their already-10 year journey to the top of global dance music. The Bronx duo have held a headlining residency at the infamous Circoloco party in Ibiza, snagged ‘#1 DJs in the World’ honors from Mixmag, collaborated with Chic’s Nile Rodgers, designed for New Era, and spearheaded their own record label,Cuttin’ Headz. As a testament to their thrilling career—from young prodigies to two of the most recognizable DJs and producers in house and techno music—Steve and Chris Martinez will be closing out Miami Music Week 2017 with a 24 hour party at the iconic Club Space. The journey will kick off at 11PM Sunday March 26, and run through Monday night. The 24 hour set will give Steve and Chris the opportunity to fully explore their own catalog and their diverse musical range, from their signature tech-house to the Latin disco of their roots. They will also curate a line-up of close friends and collaborators, with carefully selected performances from xxxxx, xxxx, and xxxxxxx.
Space is known for their raucous 24 hour closing parties, with DJ veterans like Loco Dice, Carl Cox, and Victor Calderone, among others, all contributing their iconic hues to the tradition. The Martinez Brothers continue that mythos, having come of age as DJs at the top of their game. The Martinez Brothers kicked off their year with the release of the Joint Custody EP on their imprint Cuttin’ Headz, featuring tracks with creative collaborators Martin Buttrich, Jerome Sydenham, Mathew Jonson, and Filsonik.
THE LOFT will see a line-up of class acts, legendary to be honest, THE GROUND will see a closing set from a multitude of artists led by a german super duo. As always Stay Rebel!
